Cockburn ARC
The Cockburn ARC (Cockburn Aquatic and Recreation Centre) is a large community facility located in the city of Cockburn and is the training and administration headquarters of the Fremantle Dockers Football Club. The AFL club moved to the new facility in 2017 - relocating from Fremantle Oval.
It features the Victor George Kailis Oval which is big enough to replicate every AFL ground and a GPS program that shows instantly where goal posts and markings can be moved to replicate other stadium dimensions. An indoor training and other facilities are also located at the venue to house the AFL club. The oval features lighting and a limited capacity of around 3,000 but has the capacity to grow in the future. A $11.24 million extension of Fremantle's headquarters were announced in September 2021 to allow it to host pre-season and community matches.
