Tips for Purchasing Event Tickets

Most major stadiums have one ticketing partner (usually Ticketmaster or Ticketek), with official tickets for all events at these stadiums sold through that partner only. Austadiums always links to the official ticketing partner so you have peace of mind when purchasing tickets online. Some venues have multiple ticketing partners (for example, different partners for cricket and football seasons), while some smaller venues don’t have a ticketing partner and tickets are sold through the event promoter’s partner, which may change from event to event. Always buy your tickets through the official ticketing partner. If tickets have sold out, you can try to find tickets through a resale marketplace such as StubHub; however, prices may be higher than face value. While StubHub offers guaranteed orders, there is some element of risk you should be aware of.
