BB Print Stadium Mackay

BB Print Stadium (previously known as Stadium Mackay) is a 12,000 capacity venue situated in the Queensland regional town of Mackay. The venue was funded by the Australian Federal Government at a cost of $11.3 million and officially opened by Hon Treasurer/Deputy Prime Minister Wayne Swan on Saturday 20th August 2011.

The rectangular venue includes a main grandstand which includes seating for around 1,600 spectators as well 6 internal & 12 external corporate boxes, corporate area and 4 full sized team dressing rooms. The field is well lit with 1000 lux lighting and there is also a 6x4 metre video scoreboard. A hill is situated opposite the grandstand and temporary seating can also be installed for larger events.

The stadium is the home venue of the Mackay Cutters (QLD Cup) and also hosts NRL, NRL trials & football matches. Virgin Australia was the inaugural naming rights holder from the opening until mid-2014. In early 2016, the venue became BB Print Stadium following a new naming-rights deal, which was renewed for a further 4 years in mid-2020.
