Pittwater Park

Known to locals as Rat Park, Pittwater Park is the home of the Warringah Rats, who play in the NSW Rugby Union Grade Competition. The ground was established in 1971, when the fledgling Warringah Rugby Club were admitted into the competition. Over the years, basic facilities have been added, such as the 1,500-seat grandstand, clubhouse, training field, and lighting on the main field.

Located just 500 metres from North Narrabeen beach, the ground is often subject to ferocious easterly winds, making play difficult, and as a result other teams in the competition fear a journey to the Northern Beaches venue. Northern Spirit FC played their last season in the old National Soccer League at the ground, after moving from North Sydney Oval. As part of the move, they made some minor improvements including bucket seating in the grandstand.
