Leichhardt Oval
Leichhardt Oval is a surburban Rugby League venue - one of Wests Tigers home grounds. It was the home ground of Balmain Tigers prior to the merger. The ground also hosts Football and Sydney FC will play some home games at the venue while Allianz Stadium is re-built.
Leichhardt Oval has a main grandstand with two levels on the main side, a large grass hill with on the outer side with several rows of seating near the fence. A small grandstand still exists at one end from when the playing arena was an oval with the field running East to West. The ground was redeveloped in the 1970's and converted into a rectangular field running North to South.
