BMD Kougari Oval
Kougari Oval (commercially known as BMD Kougari Oval) is a rugby league ground located in the Brisbane suburb of Manly West. Home of QLD Cup team Wynnum-Manly Seagulls, the ground features undercover seating, viewing from the Wynnum Manly Leagues Club, a large grass hill at one end and a capacity of around 5,000. The venue was built on land purchased by the club in 1964 and was originally known as the Wondall Road Ground until 1971, with the current naming coming from the Yugambeh word for seagull. The Brisbane Broncos have occasionally played NRL trials at the ground as they are affiliated with the Seagulls, including in 2011 when 8,000 fans packed in to watch the Broncos v Storm.
