Mike Carney Toyota Park
Mike Carney Toyota Park, traditionally known as the Hugh Street Rugby Ground, is a rugby union venue located in Townsville, North Queensland. Home of Townsville District Rugby Union, the venue features a two pitches, a two-story pavilion and an estimated capacity of 2,500. It also has lighting suitable for night matches. Queensland Country has also played some National Rugby Championship home games at the venue.
In 2015, the Townsville City Council approved a shopping centre development on the site of Mike Carney Toyota Park. The move would allow Townsville District Rugby Union to move to a new site at Murray, under a land swap deal with the developer.
