Home of the Matildas

The Home of the Matildas is a football facility located within the La Trobe Sports Park at La Trobe University in Bundoora. Opened in July 2023 prior to the FIFA Women's World Cup, the $57 million facility features a FIFA and AFC compliant elite pitch with elevated grandstand seating for 800 spectators an estimated capacity of 2,500, lights and video scoreboard. There are also an extra five pitches involving two Premium pitches and three standard FIFA pitches. The pavilion features elite sports facilities. The Melbourne Victory will play their A-League Women's matches at the facility as of the 2023/24 season. The venue is also referred to as the Victorian State Football Centre, serving as a training, high-performance and administration centre for Football Victoria.

Parking
Free parking is available at La Trobe University. Car Park 2A is the best bet for early arrivals, with extensive parking available a short walk from the sports precinct, across Kingsbury Drive. Enter via Sports Drive, off Kingsbury Drive.
