Austworld Centre Oval
The Austworld Centre Oval, known non-commercially as the Carrara Elite Sports Field 1, is an AFL oval located within the Gold Coast sports precinct, adjacent to Metricon Stadium and the Gold Coast Sports & Leisure Centre. Spectator facilities are minimal at the ground. It serves as the training ground of the Gold Coast Suns and hosts home games for its reserves team in the VFL. It'll also host an official AFL practice game in 2023.
An athletics track was previously located at the site to serve as the official warm-up venue during the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. It was converted into an elite sports field in late 2021. Also located at the venue is a multipurpose pitch which hosts rugby league, union and soccer.
