Blacktown International Sportspark

The sports ground at the Blacktown International Sportspark was completed in 2009 at a cost of $27 million to serve as an early base for AFL expansion side GWS Giants. The ground has similar dimensions as the MCG and a total capacity of 10,000, including seating for 1,600 spectators in the main grandstand, which also features corporate and function facilities and office space. Six light towers illuminate the ground to television broadcast standard and it also had a large LED video screen.

The ground hosted some home games for the GWS Giants before they moved to the Sydney Showground. It continues to host pre-season AFL games and Giants AFLW matches. Cricket is also played at the venue, with NSW state games and WBBL matches played there in the past.
