Mildura South Regional Sporting Precinct
The Mildura South Regional Sporting Precinct is a new $33 million multi-sports complex currently under construction in the regional Victorian city of Mildura. State one is expected to be completed in mid-2021 and will feature an AFL-standard oval with a cricket turf wicket, with an adjoining two-story indoor stadium, comprising six courts, change rooms, foyer, reception, administration offices, public amenities, storage and spectator seating, café/kiosk. The second floor will house function rooms, social/club rooms, public amenities and storage. It's hoped the new sports oval will attract pre-season matches for elite sports including AFL, cricket, soccer and basketball.
Stage one of the newly-named Mildura Sporting Precinct opened in July 2021.
