Rugby Park Stadium (NZ)

Rugby Park Stadium is New Zealand's most southern Super Rugby venue. Located in Invercargill, the venue features a main grandstand which seats 5,000 spectators and includes 20 corporate boxes. A grass embankment around the remainder of the playing field gives it a total capacity of around 18,000, however temporary seating can boost capacity to 20,000. Opened in 1908, the venue was last redeveloped in 2002 when the main stand was completely rebuilt. The Highlanders play occasionally at Rugby Park and it is also home to football team Spirit FC. It has also hosted Rugby World Cup matches.
