The Cairns Pop-Up Arena was a temporary sports stadium in Cairns to host basketball and netball while the Cairns Convention Centre was being redeveloped. Located in a former Bunnings Warehouse on Spence Street near Barlow Park, the arena has a floor space of 6,500 square metres on a 4.8 hectare site and includes grandstand seating for 2,000 spectators. It hosted home games for NBL club Cairns Taipans, WNBL and Super Netball matches. The temporary indoor arena included elements from the Convention Centre, including the court and seating. The facility also featured broadcast lighting, broadcast-level stands, video scoreboards, PA system, change rooms, air-conditioning and catering equipment.
