The Broadbeach Bowls Club is one of Australia's leading lawn bowls venues, attracting major lawn bowls events to the Gold Coast including the finals competition of the Australian National Championships from 2015 to 2019 and the World Junior Championships in 2016.
Major upgrades to the Broadbeach Bowls Club, including improvements to the four international standard bowls greens and major building upgrades to the clubhouse and surrounds, were completed in May 2016 in preparation for GC2018.
