Titanium Security Arena
Titanium Security Arena, formerly known as Adelaide Arena, is a privately owned, multipurpose indoor facility located on Crittenden Road at Findon. The venue is the home of Basketball SA and remains home of WNBL side Adelaide Lightning, while NBL team Adelaide 36ers have since moved to the larger Adelaide Entertainment Centre as of the 2019/20 season, but still have their training and administration at the venue.
Built in 1991 at a cost of $16 million, Adelaide Arena replaced the 3,000-seat capacity Apollo Stadium and while its core business is basketball, the venue also has been used for various other sporting competitions such as Netball, Gymnastics and Inline Hockey.
The versatility of the venue's main arena, which can be set up for floor space of over 2100sqm as well as the numerous function rooms within the facility means the venue can be used for any type of event large or small. The capacity for sports events is 8,000 with the Adelaide 36ers regularly attracting sell-out crowds over the years.
