Sydney University Football Ground
The Sydney University Football Ground (previously known as University Oval No.2) is a rectangular ground located at the University of Sydney, hosting rugby union and football and serves as the new home ground of the Sydney University Football Club which is the oldest rugby union club in Australia and play in the Shute Shield. The TAG Family Foundation Grandstand opened in early 2017 at a cost of $10 million and includes seating for 1,100 spectators - most of which is undercover. Facilities also include a high performance gym and warm up area, indoor activities/cricket training facility and a 180 seat function space along with player and referee change rooms.
Also located at the University of Sydney is University Oval No.1 which formerly hosted home games for the Students prior to 2016 and continues to play host to cricket and Australian football. It first hosted events in 1898 and today features a main grandstand with undercover seating and lighting suitable for night matches.
