Seddon Park (NZ)

Seddon Park is a purpose-built international quality cricket facility with a village green setting and picnic like atmosphere in the heart of Hamilton City. With a spectator capacity of 11,500, the external perimeter provides 360 degree viewing. The contoured grassy banks are popular with the fans providing an intimate atmosphere for all forms of cricket.

Seddon Park is home for Northern Districts Cricket and their flagship team the Northern Knights from which a number of players have become Black Caps. Although the venue is predominantly used for cricket, it can be modified to fit-for-purpose and has been used for a myriad of other sports events during the cricket off-season. Seddon Park is also suitable for exhibitions, festivals, product launches, live productions, cultural events, concerts, and other special events. The park is fully lit for night events.
