The Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) is one of Australia's premier sporting and entertainment venues. The SCG is located at Moore Park, which is 4km from the central business district and adjacent to the popular bars, restaurants, cinemas and shops of the Entertainment Quarter. The Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust is responsible for managing the Sydney Cricket Ground and the Sydney Football Stadium, which sites alongside the venue.

The historic Sydney Cricket Ground boasts an impressive list of credentials, encompassing Cricket, Australian Rules Football, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Football, and even Baseball and Cycling, as well as major concerts. The primary tenants at the SCG is Cricket (Internationals, Sydney Sixers & NSW Blues), the Sydney Swans (AFL) and currently the Sydney Roosters (NRL) and NSW Waratahs (Super Rugby) while the Football Stadium is being rebuilt.

Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG)

The SCG originally opened in 1886, and has been developed over time to become the great stadium it is today. Its most recent redevelopment included the new Noble & Bradman Stand and Messenger Stand, which includes one of the largest video screens in Australia. Opened in 2013, the new facilities have increased capacity to around 48,000 and provided a much-needed improvement to facilities, especially in the members area. The SCG is widely recognised for retaining its historic members and ladies grandstands.
