Macedonia Park
Macedonia Park, also referred to as Stirling Park, is a rectangular football ground located in the Perth suburb of Balcatta. The venue is the home ground of NPL WA club Stirling Lions Soccer Club (formerly Stirling Macedonia FC). In 1986, Stirling Macedonia represented the Soccer Federation of Western Australia against Adelaide City in the NANDA Cup in front of a crowd of 5,000 in what was the first game to be played at Macedonia Park on the day the complex was officially opened, the 23rd March 1986.
The ground features a main grandstand with undercover seating/standing and a grass standing room surrounding the rest of the field, with a total capacity of around 4,000. There is also a large social club and licensed bar within the grandstand overlooking the field. Lights allow for night matches. Perth Glory will play their A-League Women's home games at Macedonia Park for the 2022/23 season. And due to the unavailability of HBF Park, Perth Glory's men's team will play 10 A-League home games at the venue this season. Temporary grandstands will boost the seating capacity, while other temporary facilities will also be brought in including lighting, video screen and the pitch upgraded.
