Ken Rosewall Arena is receiving a $50 million upgrade during 2019 which includes the construction of a new roof and timber sprung floor allowing for multi-sport use. Once complete, tennis will be able to be played in all conditions and it'll be come the home of Netball in New South Wales. The upgrade will be completed in time for the new ATP Cup which commences in January 2020, while the venue will also become the new home court of the NSW Swifts and Giants Netball.
