Jiangwan Stadium (CHN)
Jiangwan Stadium is a venue located in Shanghai, China, which will host its third AFL premiership season match in 2019, with Port Adelaide and St Kilda playing their round 11 match at the venue. While the capacity of the stadium is 25,000, for AFL matches it is around 12,000 due to temporary grandstands erected on the field to bring fans closer to the action. Built in 1934, the venue features an athletics track which is covered over for AFL matches - it also hosts amateur soccer matches and community events. Jiangwan Stadium was previously known as Shanghai Stadium and is also referred to as the Jiangwan Sports Centre. Since 2018, due to a naming-rights deal, it is officially known as Adelaide Arena at Jiangwan Stadium for the annual AFL match. It also previously hosted an exhibition match in 2010 between Melbourne and Brisbane.
