Elizabeth Oval
Elizabeth Oval (officially known as X Convenience Oval) is situated in northern Adelaide, South Australia. The ground is home to the Central District Football Club, the Bulldogs, established in 1959 with its first league match played in 1964. It has one grandstand at the western side with seating for approximately 1,500. The rest of the ground has concrete terraces and a large grass area which spans from the southern goal around the east wing to the northern goal.
Floodlighting was installed in time for the 2006 SANFL season to allow for night matches, which have been predominantly scheduled for Saturday evenings. Fitness facilities were given a makeover during the 2000's, not only improving the gymnasium and locker room but also adding in a two-lane pool.
