Ballarat Sports and Events Centre
The Ballarat Sports and Events Centre is a new indoor arena located in regional Victoria. Opened in July 2019, the facility is based at the site of the existing Wendouree Indoor Sports Centre and features a 3,000-seat showcourt, which includes a mix of permanent and retractable seating on three sides, able to host basketball and netball, plus six additional indoor courts. The project forms part of the Eureka Sports Precinct. Built at a cost of $24 million, construction started in February 2018. It is the new home of Basketball Ballarat and now serves as the new home base of NBL1 teams Ballarat Miners and Rush, who've relocated from the Ballarat Minerdome.
