Ballarat Minerdome
The Ballarat Minerdome was officially opened as the Peace Memorial Stadium in March 1970 and is now officially known as the Mars Minerdome following a naming rights sponsorship. The venue has seating for around 2,000, split between two grandstands. It plays host to local Basketball and the Ballarat Miners in the second tier and semi-professional NBL1 competition. The venue hosted games during the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games and was upgraded for the event.
