Eden Park opens $10 million field-level hospitality space
A former back-of-house area beneath Eden Park’s Lower West Stand has been transformed into a new $10 million hospitality space, giving spectators a field-level view of the action.
The Coca-Cola Field Club has officially opened at the Auckland stadium and will welcome fans attending New Zealand’s Twenty20 international against India on Friday 30 October.
Featuring a central bar, lounge seating and communal tables, the space is designed for supporters to gather before matches, watch from beside the playing surface and stay on after the final whistle. DJ entertainment will also feature before and after events.
Access extends to general admission ticketholders, although arrangements may vary between events.
Eden Park chief executive Nick Sautner said the development reflected changing expectations of the stadium experience.
“Making this space available to general admission ticketholders gives more fans the opportunity to experience Eden Park, and the event, in a completely different way,” Sautner said.
“Creating different spaces for different audiences is central to how we continue to evolve Eden Park.”
The redevelopment was completed in nine weeks against an original 24-week construction program. Approximately 70 per cent of existing materials, including concrete and glass, were reused as the previously underused area was adapted for its new purpose.
The project also expands the stadium’s function facilities, with the Field Club available for conferences, corporate gatherings and private events outside match days.

According to Eden Park, available non-event dates ahead of Christmas are already fully booked, with strong demand also reported for 2027.
“A stadium investment needs to work throughout the year. We have created a space that adds to the event-day experience and gives businesses and event organisers a distinctive venue on other days,” Sautner said.
“The bookings already secured demonstrate demand for this type of space and its contribution to the stadium’s year-round use.”
Coca-Cola has secured naming rights to the Field Club through its existing Icon Partnership with the stadium.
The development adds another spectator and function space within Eden Park’s existing structure, combining closer views of live sport with a venue capable of generating business throughout the year.
