The world of soccer is one that fascinates, but to truly appreciate the game, you need to go to a stadium and experience the atmosphere of the crowd chanting together in support of their favourite team.

This type of experience is hard to describe in words, but given how much is invested in the building of stadiums, you can clearly see why people are keen to keep doing it. Much like online roulette for Aussie players, sports stadiums rely on good luck to truly capture the best moments of a game. They are built in a way that allows everyone to never feel disconnected from what is happening on the field.

The world's best soccer stadiums are not just there to look beautiful. They are small socio-economical worlds where trade is carried out. Let's have a look at some of the best stadiums around the globe.

Suncorp Stadium, Australia

Suncorp Stadium is often regarded as the best major rectangular sports stadium in Australia and while the Brisbane venue mostly hosts rugby, it also stages many soccer events. Nicknamed “The Cauldron” for its high capacity, electric atmosphere and state-of-the-art design, the Brisbane stadium offers seating for 52,500 people and often attracts large passionate Queensland huge crowds. The stadium has a rectangular, three-tier design and is home to teams such as the Brisbane Broncos and Queensland Reds, while it’s the former home of the Brisbane Roar. Suncorp has hosted many major soccer matches and it will stage games for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Wembley Stadium, UK

There is little doubt that Wembley is one of the best stadiums in the world. It's a true engineering miracle as it has combined the best of mechanical thought and merged it with the practicality of attending soccer games. The facility is commonly referred to as "The Home of Football" and deservedly so. It has an huge capacity of 90,000 and as you can imagine, whenever a Wembley event is on, it is often full to capacity with an electric atmosphere.

Allianz Arena, Germany

This is another fantastic modern stadium that is based in Germany. The Allianz Arena is currently playing home to two distinct teams, Bayern Munich and 1860 Munich. The stadium can shift its colours depending on which team is playing and it was one of the first stadiums with that feature. In terms of design, the Allianz Arena is a little architectural bijou as it doesn't exactly follow modern designing conventions but rather focuses on preserving the way stadiums were built in previous decades. This may be seen as a little out-of-vogue but it's actually great that such a facility lives on and serves as an example of what a timeless stadium should look like.

Old Trafford, UK

Old Trafford can often have fans split over whether the stadium is truly one of the best. From where we stand, Old Trafford has a lot to offer for casual fans and hardcore soccer fans. It's referred to as "The Theatre of Dreams" and is home to Manchester United, the English Premier League powerhouse better known as the Red Devils. The venue was established in 1910 and it has been one of the most significant locations for a long while now. Manchester United has had a few difficult seasons of late, but nothing to actually stop the team from its mission to become the most significant club in English soccer history.

Azteca, Mexico

Mexico City's Estadio Azteca is another great gem. The biggest stadium in Mexico brings fans from far and wide that are keen to attend live games and share in the joy of other people. Mexico is big on soccer and as you can imagine, Estadio Azteca best captures this love for the beautiful game.
