Re: SANFL 2011 and Leagues Championship Cup
Current aggregate for season so far is over 150000, can't give an exact figure thanks to the unknown number from the Round 1 Port vs. Norwood match.
The overall figure could be just under the same figures from 2010 at the same period.

Re: SANFL 2011 and Leagues Championship Cup
Probably the best place for this.
http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/football- ... 6081926029
Clearly the best coaches box in Australian sport.
1) elevated to the pitch.
2) comfortable chair
3) easy access to the whiteboard
4) clear communication with runner
5) put together by someone likely to have a dui hanging over them

Re: SANFL 2011 and Leagues Championship Cup
I could swear I've read this rticle before today, or at least one simillar in tone to it
http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/afl ... 6089914915NORWOOD matches are the hottest tickets in the SANFL.
The top seven attendances this season - and eight of the best nine - have been for Redlegs games.
The 8011 that flocked to The Parade to watch Norwood play Glenelg on an April Friday night was the biggest SANFL crowd this season.
A bumper 7258 fans saw the Redlegs thrash arch rival Port Adelaide by 100 points at Coopers Stadium in mid May.
Among the biggest crowds in the league this year were for Norwood's away matches against Glenelg at Gliderol Stadium, and Sturt and Central District at Adelaide Oval.

Re: SANFL 2011 and Leagues Championship Cup
I'm looking forward to the monday morning update for the SANFL..I was down at Ice Station: Noarlunga for the Redlegs v Panthers game brrr I wonder how many people were there?
Even though its not exactly befitting the "second best league in the country". I don't mind the country atmosphere at Hickenbotham, cars parked around the boundary, old ladies serving tea & coffee in the canteen, the Netball team(Sophisti-cats) doing a little dance for the crowd at HT. Overall, you've got to say..shitty facilities though. One Tiny 500 seat Grand Stand 80% for members only. Its got potential and is a 'renovators delight';) I'd hate to be there on a day as cold as yesterday though if it was raining too:(
