Elphin Sports Centre

The Elphin Sports Centre is an indoor sports centre located in Launceston, Tasmania. The centre features 4 Multi-Purpose Halls each allowing for Basketball, Badminton (4 Courts) or Futsal to be played, or use for other events or functions. Additional seating can be installed to allow for a capacity of around 1,000.

The centre hosted a FIBA Oceania Championships game between the Opals and Tall Ferns in September 2003. It has also hosted WNBL matches and in 2021, it hosted a double-header of games during the pre-season NBL Blitz  competition in front of a crowd of 800 (restricted due to Covid).
