The original headline for that Cousins-Druce article was, "Stupid Bimbo Wakes Up 10 Years Too Late - Wastes Good Years of Her Life."

It's like how Sonny Bill Williams girlfriend forgave him for shagging Candice Falzon in the toilets at the Clovelly Hotel because, "he was drunk."

The question must be asked, do women deserve to vote?

HD is right - you never ever talk to strangers in trains. In act, I'm sure there are laws against that in Melbourne (and quite rightfully so), and offenders should be thrown off at the next station. Pubs are for talking, not suburban trains.

Luckily I missed seeing the game, but apparently was the antithesis of the North/Carlton game which at least provided plenty of enterntainment up at Cararra.

The smaller than expected crowd might've been due to the expectation the game could be a bad one - The Saints have very stupidly adopted the Sydney Swans negative game plan (where did Ross Lyon come from?), despite having both Gehrig and Lyon up forward. I can see Saints fans deserting theit team in droves so long as as they dish up that rubbish. At least Hawthorn have shown thay can play attacking football, so the future is looking brighter for them.

Message from President Costa, ruler of Geelong, on the radio yesterday (after last years debacle) - keep a lid on it! So long as they don't get too over-excited, they should beat, maybe thrash StKilda (thereby starting player rumblings against their new coach, who appears a dud so far), while both Adelaide teams are beatable, even at Foodball Park.

First, blame Docklands for not fully ticketing the stadium, then blame the HUN, which wrongly (yet again) reported the match was a sell-out, with all seats sold and only very limited standing room available. In fact, only half of level 3 was set aside for reserved seating, the rest was still available for a walk-up crowd. Thousands would've read the match was a sell out that would otherwise have showed up.

And another point - Medallion Club attendances are higher on Friday nights than either Saturdays or Sundays for equivalent type games.

AAAaarrgh, don't remind me!!! 4 goals up 5 minutes into the third qurater, then missed 4 consecutive easily gettable goals in as many minutes, the Dogs get a goal totally against the trend of play, lift their confidence and the rest is history.

Collingwoods conversion from set shots - 1.9 behinds - was (and not for the first time this season) disgracefully inept.

They have a lot of work to do to get to an acceptable level in this one area that's really messing up all the other good work. Dogs just had a that edge in polish and finishing off skills.

I always thought it was one of the only good looking AFL jerseys too...

It looks like someone wiped their ar$e on it and they didn't have time to alter the design.
The worst alternate strip in the comp. IMO.

This answers a question of a while back I think, the Dockers do not use Avalon...Geelong may be smarter.

Puzzles me why a professional outfit would not go to Avalon, heck the comfort level is better then Qantas, when I did the trip last year.

FREMANTLE has endured an 11-hour nightmare trip littered with delays and breakdowns on its way to play Geelong today.

A hastily arranged fleet of hire cars ferried the players from Melbourne Airport to the team's hotel in Geelong on Thursday night.

The Dockers' woes started when their flight was delayed nearly three hours in Perth after arriving late from Sydney.

And the team bus broke down before it could leave the airport, forcing players to pile into four cars for the trip down the highway.

While the players eventually arrived at their hotel at 10pm, it was almost midnight before the support staff and gear turned up on the repaired bus.

The disruptions did not end there. Assistant coaches Steve Malaxos and Earl Spalding, and club medico Keith Withers had to catch the "red-eye" from Perth last night after two flights were cancelled earlier in the day.

The trio were not due to reach Geelong until about 7am this morning.

Amid the travel chaos, coach Chris Connolly took his players for a 40-minute familiarisation run on Skilled Stadium yesterday afternoon.
