I know. I mean, given how well Andy Bichel had served the Bulls, you'd think they'd have kept Noffke to perform a similar role, if not get a call up to Oz.beastjim wrote:Still can't believe we got rid of Noffke. Dumbarses in at QC.
SA is about to enjoy the rare achievement of leading the Sheffield Shield table, albeit after one match ofthe entire round. They have rolled Tassie twice and only need 70 odd to win outright with 70 overs or so left.

And that's even with the IPL franchises getting priority picks for players that played in both IPL-qualified teams and other teams.beastjim wrote:New season, same old South Australia. Although we probably served up a green top to screw em over.
Also NSW seem to be pretty darn good at this T20 caper, at least playing in India anyways. Pity for the organisers that none of the IPL teams could make it to the semi finals .
NSW have a lot to be pleased about. Henrqiues has been consistent plus Warner and Hughes are forming a good double act. And we're doing all of this without Shane Watson, who'll probably be a walk up start for NSW (regardless of merit).

Apparently she chucked a sickie a couple of years back to watch him play only to be caught out when they showed a camera shot of the WAGS.

Lee's not bad. But Mel McLaughlin is the pick of the bunch.
If you could change one rule in any sport what would it be?:
If you go down in a football match you get stretchered off and have to stay off the field for at least 5-10 minutes to get rid of diving from the game.. No way would you fake it if you had to stay off the field for that amount of time
