If we make the final we will have gone one stage further than p*ssant United by winning through 3 knockout rounds.

Averages out well with leaving a stage earlier than Pissant City in the FFA Cup then.

Wanderers have been making friends as easily in Asia as they have been at home

The travelling contingent of 8 supporters who were already in Korea/Japan/China on a work do will be the largest migration of human beings, and birds, in history.Simmo79 wrote:They will. And they'll lose it. As is their custom.yob wrote:Make the final

Sydney FC, Melbourne Victory - hate.St James wrote:Oh, the hate rages. lol.
Brisbane, Perth - respect, for different reasons.
Wellington, Central Coast - feel a bit sorry for them.
Squanderers, Melbourne City - seem a bit "loser step dad" tbh

Western Sydney Wanderers can perhaps already lay claim to being the most popular sporting team in Sydney's western suburbs – they have sold more full memberships than any other football club in the region.

Forget about rugby league or AFL, Western Sydney Wanderers FC are clearly the most popular team in the west of Sydney.
Statistics revealed in Tuesday’s Sydney Morning Herald show the Wanderers have sold more full memberships than any other football club of any code in the region.

That's a pretty limited basis for comparison. Selling more memberships proves that they've sold more memberships, not that they're the most popular team in the west.

Re: Western Sydney Wanderers FC
It has been checked with the club and the total includes Out of Town and Supporter members. As these two categories form the waiting list its quite likely that most will become full ticketed members when seat allocation for renewing members has been completed but at the moment the statement is not correct.

Re: Western Sydney Wanderers FC
I was more interested by how the Squanderers relayed the information. The claim itself doesn't warrant any thought.
It's worth noting the smh article summary was slightly more neutral when it was first published, but was revised pro wsw (without any disclosure in the article) within the hour.
