If Ben Cousins comes back to the WAFL...
I'll be at his first game back at Medibank Stadium against Peel. The crowd size would be pretty amazing...

Sth Freo v Est Perth - 1704
Swan Dist v Wst Perth - 2518
Subi v Est Freo - 2215
Claremont v Perth - 1352
Rain + going head to head with the AFL match will result in a quite low crowd. I can imagine the Sunday crowd at Claremont Oval should be quite good as well.

Kevin Bartlett has a 20 min chat with Robert Wiley on sen every Wednesday morning and he mentioned this morning that he caught up with cousins a couple of days ago, cousins told him that he won't be playing in the wafl and that he hopes to move back to melb because that's where he wants to live .

Re: WAFL Attendance Figures
I think its to get away from the Perth underworld which him and Gardiner were very much involved back in their playing days...Laz wrote:Kevin Bartlett has a 20 min chat with Robert Wiley on sen every Wednesday morning and he mentioned this morning that he caught up with cousins a couple of days ago, cousins told him that he won't be playing in the wafl and that he hopes to move back to melb because that's where he wants to live .

Cousins said to Wiley that he enjoyed living in melb and wanted to get back involved in football, cousins good mate kizon is originally from melb , so if he's moving to melb to get away from underworld mates melb is the last place in Aus you would move to.

Re: WAFL Attendance Figures
Big game in the WAFL today, no excuse to not walk over after the last quarter.
Seems as if Terry Waldron spoke to 6PR
Thought Subiaco Lions may move back to Subi Oval and West Perth to Leederville Oval (Arena Joondalup which is state government owned, must be thought of seriously as a home for a 3rd AFL side).

Epic game today at Claremont Oval!
Really don't want the WAFL season to end, loving it more and more as the season has progressed.

East Perth v Peel Thunder - 1476
West Perth v Subiaco - 1671
Perth v Swan Districts - 1643
Claremont v Sth Fremantle - 2002
Not bad crowds considering three of them went head to head with the AFL game and weather conditions were pretty chilly!

What's going on down there Egan? Is this going to be another one of those years where Peel look like they're starting to come good, only for their 6 best players to piss off to other clubs at the end of the season?

^ Doubt it, new facilities, good coach, good young players coming through the system (lack of stars so we won't get raided as we had in the past). Are you coming to Bassandean on Saturday? Time to see the boys in action Rob, seeing as we are only 2 wins from the top 4.

^ Geeze what rotten timing...
Make sure you go have a look at the new stand while you are in town.
