The Coffee bean poll for political parties is done in a few big coffee shop chains in Perth, when I was walking past today I found it very interesting at how massive the Greens vote is. Now its Stephen Smith's seat, but it would be voters from all over the metro area. It was more than double of Labors vote...

They won't get a seat, but there voting percentage will be even larger than before...

But in my house the Labor vote is 100%. Therefore I predict without fear of contradiction that Labor will romp in.

In fact, given 100% of my house are active members, it follows that the country will soon all be in the party. And members of unions too. Sounds like paradise for Yob. :)

The way I see it, as bad as another Labor government will be... at least I'll be able to download porn faster.

Pfft way to take the post too seriously...

I thought it was an interesting element and the coffee bean poll is just as effective to all these polls on the net. This federal election is extremely unpredictable.

Labor has my vote though...

Fun and games are back. Will Slipper really want to go to Labor?

Apparently he is a very conservative Anglican, any sectarian issues with Abbott?

Can't believe how quickly it has taken for leaks to come out of the Liberal Party room...

Sectarianism hasn't been an issue in Australia since before WW2. I don't think it will pose a problem now.

I know a Catholic in Fremantle who gets riled by her father in law for being a staunch catholic because he is a protestant.

I am struggling to find out what Slipper's problem is and why he would go to the Labor party. He is not exactly the most liberal member of the Australian Liberal Party.

Has he had concerns about the Australian Liberal Party for a long time and feels he can now express this in the new parliament?

Labor lost first bill 73-72.

Interesting

:D

One of your best, even better than the idea that being a very conservative Anglican means you find it hard to get along with conservative Catholics.

Hint: Members of the government crossing the floor is not the same as the government losing a vote in the house.

If he were in the ALP it'd mean he's a liberal. Remember, he has to be contrary to everything. He's basically the personification of this lump I have in my back at the moment - it's a pain, and every time the masseuse tries to pin it down WOOSH it flings off to somewhere else.

If I was that interested in being contrary I wouldn't have a life.
