They should make good use of their windfall - time to introduce the Greater Eastern Melbourne Jets.

Which ground would you redevelop as a training base they won't use? And which ground would you redevelop for them to use instead of the grounds they can use?Simmo79 wrote:They should make good use of their windfall - time to introduce the Greater Eastern Melbourne Jets.
And what defficiencies are you looking to incorporate in to the designs to ensure a compromised viewing experience for the game's mortal rival International Rules?

They will initially be based in a new training facility in Dandenong. This will be paid for party by the Dandenong city council who will contribute $10m to match the NRL's $100,000yob wrote:Which ground would you redevelop as a training base they won't use? Games will be played at a redeveloped Waverley Oval. The Victorian state government is kicking in $25m to match the NRL's $250,000. One pre-season game will be played in Dandenong.
Players will live in a gated community in Middle Park
After promising to play a regular season game at Dandenong - they will move all regular season matches to MRS/Docklands/Hindmarsh Stadium/Geelong and train at excellent facilities of Lakeside Stadium

The first Melbourne Derby each season will be called the Battle of the Fridges in recognition of the front rowers who like to get on the turps after each game. Real beer will be flown in from Sydney for the event.bazza wrote:They will initially be based in a new training facility in Dandenong. Rumour is Greater Eastern Sydney Jets will try to tap in to a market approx 40,000km east of Melbourne - Bendigo - and play 8 home games there per year. The strip will also be altered to have a large nugget on the front.

Later tonight the Cronulla boys on an away trip climbed through dibo's bathroom window.
On reflection, use of the word "heart" in a public forum was tantamount to absolutely begging for it so I have no sympathy whatsoever.
