Players abandon Force
At best, the Force has three world class players in O'Connor, Nathan Sharpe and David Pocock, who hasn't been seen because of injury since March 5, a handful of Wallabies-standard contenders and a swag of honest journeymen. These are, at best, the ingredients of a team that could finish in the top half of the table. In a good year, they might even scrape into the playoffs.
More likely, if things stay as they are at present, the Force will struggle to hold its standing as a middle-ranking power. But if O'Connor was to leave, the club's prospects would plummet, especially with Sharpe having only one more season in him before he retires from the game.

The Force are going to miss O'Conner more than they missed Giteau but it is Sharpe who is going to be missed the most when he retires. I get a sense that people want to see a few more locals in the side too -quite a few people were happy that Longbottom has been getting more few run-ons

^ Im impressed with how quick we have a local in our side...Next ten years hopefully we have more.
We are doing just as well as the Storm have done.

Sadly this week will see one player make his last home appearance for the Force..The Great Nathan Sharpe.

I will spend the next six months with the warm feeling that at least the Force's last 40 minutes of the season was quite respectable, a local boy did good, we should have a decent stand next season and best of all, the Tahs lost and the SMH will be harping on about the abysmal state of NSW rugby till at least Christmas

The less said about the Brumbies end to the season the better. All they had to do was make sure they didn't lose by more than 7 points to one of the worst teams in the league and hope that the Reds and two of the SA teams didn't win. Yep, they fuct that up.
