Should never have rejected Edelstein's offer - better Sharks having his money than Bryne .

Less annoying for the general public as well..by God 'that' voice - nails on a chalkboard or PM Dullard are the only things I can think of that are worse!Nines wrote:Should never have rejected Edelstein's offer - better Sharks having his money than Bryne .

Then again Bryne would be a big crowd boost

They had Peter Gow in charge at the time. Doc probably had his eye on Gow's daughter Elle MacPherson.

Was an article in the Tele this weekend foreshadowing a "respectable" $1m loss.

I saw that. And if that's in a year when they got the advance from the developers, it's a real worry.Cheesie-the-Pirate wrote:Was an article in the Tele this weekend foreshadowing a "respectable" $1m loss.
$10 to watch them play this weekend to mark Paul Gallen's ten years as a first grader. Still not worth it!

Re: Cronulla Death Watch
Perth Sharks for 2013 with CC Bears & BNE 2.0 to make a 18 team comp!
I don't care how much market research shows that Reds is popular in WA Egan - Shirley Sharks could be as popular if not more and it's better for the game.
Will add $100million to the next TV deal & is so simple to do - no brainer.
Why aren't the NRL still ponying up $8million for teams to relocate / merge like this post-1998?

Re: Cronulla Death Watch
If Cronulla wanted to be on the CC, the CC Bears' bid would fail.
Instead, Cronulla have decided to simply survive, beg to HQ from time to time, make every year a struggle and whore themselves to whichever gullible local Council will put up with them for one game a year. This is known as the North Melbourne Option.
