Can't see this fight happening anytime soon but get ready for Green v ROY JONES JR

They both won their fights today so according to all the pre fight publicity they will be fighting each other in Australia. :wank:

It will never happen.I don't think Jones has ever fought outside America and I dont think he is going to start now,and if he does I think after watching the fights, Jones jr will make Danny look a little silly.

Danny fought well to stop a bloke I have never heard of and will never see again and Jones jr looked SHARP to stop a World ranked fighter in 9 rounds. If Danny couldn'd catch Mundine he has no hope with Jones jr.

Go Danny but I think you may have bitten off more than you can chew.

Well, they reckon it will be in Australia before the end of the year.

Surely Danny would only hold it in Perth? Or will the lack of a decent venue stop this from happening?

There was a 45 minute delay before the fight because of a glove dispute (Although all this is supposed to be sorted out well before fight time) and during this delay Jones jr acted like your typical arrogant , prima donna type American fighter used to getting his own way. Can't see him been happy with the visitors rooms under the two tier stand at Subi. This fight (if it happens)will be in Sydney.

Surprise, surprise Channel 7 Perth said a lack of State Government support will mean the bout is in Sydney.

He also had a cap www.sydney.com when he finished the fight.

Leading story on Channel 7 News Perth as it opened the bulletin

"Sydney knocks out Perth for the biggest fight in a decade"

I wonder how hype noobia the city will get for the fight in a few months...

Of course they don't care, they are conservative liberals. Boxing is bogan sport and is the cause of the city being so violent

Well Eventscorp sent an email to Danny Green's management to not even bother about applying for government funding to host the fight against Mundine.

So it looks like that fight will be in Sydney as well...

So it is interstate...

I have sort of lost interest in Green since he has come out of retirement...

I was thinking of booking it on Main Event but decided to spend the money on another stadium design book.
