I was looking at the NAB Cup shedule and i was abit surprised that the first round is spread over three weeks, can anyone think of a reason why it would be shedule like this for?

Where, the Junction Oval? It's not like there are a shitload of grounds around that can hold the 25,000-odd people you'd expect (35k+ if Cousins plays), especially given the MCG isn't available.
