Its like a half hearted attempt to keep some history in the place. The mix of old and new and doesn't work in the same stand.

For Goodness sake! keep the pavilion the same and if you're going to build rubbish around it then so be it.

The ECB should step in and do something. This is a disgrace

The historic venue will bwe re-vamped into one of the country’s premier sporting destinations.

Two new grandstands will ensure a capacity of 15,000 capable of rising to 25,000 with temporary seating.
There will also be floodlights and a screen showing action replays. The architects are BDP, the sports ground experts which designed the new stands and facilities at Aintree and Wimbledon.
My god, sporting facilities in pommyland must be sh*t if that piddly little place is one of their premier sporting destinations.

It kind of reminds me of Carrara.

There's no need to change the Members Pavilion.

The proposed mutation pleases nobody.

The proposals for the rest of the ground aren't disastrous, but they really would have been better following the example of Trent Bridge.

I dont mind it..they should keep the old stand though it would make the red boxes a stronger statement...they are a bit close to the ground though. The images are a bit small to make a propper judgment on it.

England - Still doesn't have a clue when it comes to Cricket Venues.

Build a f***ing 50,000 seat cricket stadium FFS, Manchester is the perfect place for this.
