Carlaw Park (with photos)

Last week i spotted Carlaw Park from my bus - the top tier of the concrete grandstand was goneburgers, and this morning the lower part built right onto the hill is gone.

More the pity, but bring on some gentrification.

In the interests of posting random crap, i just saw on Sunrise that there is an archaeological dig going on at Carlaw Park uncovering an old brick house and Chinese stuff.
