It would actually create interesting punt-return dynamics as there would have to be a lot of line-driven punts, not big hanging ones like most NFL outfits favour.

Be funny is one hit the board and was recovered for a TD though.

Or do they get stage fright seeing themselves on the massive screen...
Look at the youtube link that IanRitchie posted. There's your answer.

The object, of course, is to hit the ball as high and long as you can. A rugby style kick (lowish and long) is no good since the returning team will get the ball and run it back. Ideally you want your kick coverage to arrive down field as the ball is caught by the returner so he will fair catch the ball, let it bounce, or not be able to run with any space (i.e. he'll be tackled straight away).

Although the screens are high enough due to league rules, commonsense should dictate that they're raised higher. Just not for this season, apparently.

The eastside Party Pass area at Cowboys Stadium was already teeming with fans before kickoff on Sunday. The six end zone plazas can accommodate 15,000 fans, but 30,000 tickets for the areas were sold.

This is from an email from the Dallas Cowboys to a angry fan

"......if it helps at all, the only reason so many party passes were sold for Sunday's game was to break the attendance record. I can assure you that only 1/3 of that amount of party passes will be sold for each game going forward...10,000 max instead of 30,000. That was a one-time deal for the grand opening of the stadium.
Sincerely, Dallas Cowboys Football Club.........."

From my reading, these "Party Passes" allow the spectator to enter the Stadium, but can not view the field at all.The game is watched on the screens and in the back corridors.....

What a joke...

Yes, a preseason game at Azteca in 1994 between Dallas and Houston holds the record at 112,376. And agree it's a joke they sold the party passes ($29 I think) and counted them.

Compare the apparent size of the scoreboard to the actual court in the first pic. FMD
