Yep, it is actually, for an Eels and Wanderers fan.
It's the perfect solution if that continued the whole way around the stadium, with plenty of corporate space at the back, as is current with the western stand. Sad thing is, stadium designers in this country generally f**k things up, so, it's a pipe dream.
Suncorp is the best big rectangular stadium in the country.
This would go close to being the best small one. MRS is probably a notch above what this could achieve.

SFS was D&C....and got got cut back by 1/3rd....

The Wanderers approached Venues NSW to see if the expansions at the north and south ends could be completed by the start of the new season.

Or if they're genuinely concerned about capacity in the short term they could play games at ANZ while they lift the capacity at Parra Stadium. Do what Seattle does in the MLS and restrict the capacity in order to push the crowd together.

Temporary stands take all of a week to put up. They could go large with those things as well, have a defacto kop on one end while they build the other.

When they have limited funds why would they waste any on temporary work? Better to just put up with the limits of the current stands for another season.

Temporary stands are a profitable exercise if you've sold the seats. If they get the pre-commitment then go for it. They're dirt cheap.

At the moment there are still 6.5k seats not sold to members out of 19.5k so there is no shortage. The shortage will be for walk ups or fans from other clubs which is not guaranteed income.

Really happy to hear Lyall Gorman state that German-style convertible standing/seating areas are being considered for this upgrade.

Wanderers fans already create an amazing atmosphere. I firmly believe standing areas enhance the ability to create a 'proper' football atmosphere, by virtue of there being more voices concentrated in a defined area.
