I never understood those "Danger keep out" signs they have on the grandstand. To any 15 year old it reads "Attention - hanging here at 3am is awesome."

The scrap just sitting out in the open is astounding. The Travellers would have that in a flash over here!

I always find it handy for a ground to have breakable components, because you just never know when you need to mete some justice with members of another ethnic minority.

This corner piece was flapping away in the wind, waiting to fall on someone. During previous games I've seen St George officials going into the condemned stand to retrieve balls. Let's hope old Hungarians aren't litigious.

I recall a Dragons fan said of the ground a few years ago "The place looks like Budapest after the Soviets rolled through"

The ground aside, the location has not much going for it and is utterly without charm. The only place to go for a drink is Brighton Fisho's over the river. I hope Saints don't ever get funding to pull down the stand and replace it with a small one, I really want them to relocate.

Article in the current Leader confirms a few things

St George FC, after their promotion to the NSW NPL 1 will be playing out of Jubilee next year.

Secondly, their new ground and home base near Barton Park is due to be completed by 2015.
