SFS to be known as Allianz Stadium

A new roof, exterior lighting and improved facilities on the upper decks of both wings are planned.

Of all the things they could do at the SFS, tip-up seats would be the best. Death to Cove calves

The seats are 24 years old. When the SCG went all green seats they replaced seats that were around that age. An SCG seat change mightn't be far away.

I watched the Big Blue on foxtel on Sturday night. There were too many fans in attendance to read the word pattern in the seats opposite the camera. It kind of looked like Allianz, but I can't be sure, did the SFS replace some blue seats with white ones to spell out the sponsor's name?

It does spell Allianz and it is in white.

I took a couple of photos there on Sunday during Penrith's courageous 18-0 victory over the Sydney Roosters. I tried uploading them to the austadiums.com Facebook page. Will make sure they're there tonight.

Ditto.

I uploaded a photo on the austadiums.com Facebook page but I can't link to it right now because work has blocked FB.

Thanks Cam.

The letters will make a good point of reference for any nerds who sit on the western side. The SFS used to have yellow signs hanging from the bottom of the second tier that showed the bay numbers. They're gone now meaning the Bay signs are only on the concourse. Now, from your seat you can say "that bay with the 'z' on it".

Coincidentally I was in "Bay Z" on Saturday. Had a great view of the filth and SFS security getting to know the MV fans during the first half.

You haven't done that weird thing where you get older and stop standing behind the goals have you?
