Stadiums that are on death row but will be here for a while longer.

If you havent read the news Perth Entertainment Centre is being redeveloped, no longer being sold off. 13-15,000 people it will end up holding.

Perry Lakes Stadium i guarantee will be here next year, there is too much hostility between the Town of Cambridge and Government, in who should pay for the new smaller athletics stadium, received from the profits of selling the land

WACA will be there longer is attracting rock concerts and have a narrow minded comitee.

Burswood Dome isnt that under utilised, the WWF was in the Burswood Dome, still gets the same amount of usage as the WACA. We have a mulitple venues that can host basketball thats why North Mole. Entertainment Centre, Burswood and Challenge Stadium and crowd levels in Perth dont warrant going to Burswood. The best was the Entertainment Centre as after watching the basketball, people could just stroll down the road to the entertainment district of perth northbridge and next to Perth Train station.

Claremont Showgrounds will never be demolished is owned by the Royal Agricultural Society and has its own train station, where else could the Royal Show be held? there earmarking that Claremont Oval next to the showgrounds will be used as a housing estate. And that the Showgrounds will be the home of the Claremont Tigers. It involves sinking the railway line around claremont, a revitilisation of the area apparently.

Ascot, Belmont and Gloucester Parks will never be subdivided, theres two much history there, despite the fact that there is four sporting facilities that are on the banks of swan river. Which could give amazing amount of money for the industry, Its been mentioned earlier that the WACA think that Gloucester Park should be where a new super stadium should be.

Yes Perth is home to many white elephants, but at least we have had upgrades to most of them lately
