Did any one watch the Build it Bigger episode on MRS during the week?

I found it quite interesting, particualry all the triangkes are a different size and are diff materials to allow for more light etc. Also about how the roof is able to support itself as well as the light on top.

Finally it took a slegehammer to break the seats and teh only take 10minutes to replace unlike Jihad.

If i was a computer nerd I would upload but I aint.

Hoping that we can make the Grand final or Australia can play a World Cup or Asian Cup qualifier at the venue as it looks pretty good.

That Built it Bigger was an excellent episode. Does anyone know of shows like that for other famous stadiums?

every time i see this stadium, i like it less and less.
i guess i have to go there to get a real judge of it, but everything from the colour of the seats to the shape of the seating bowl and the strange layout of the bowl dont work very nicely, as if they've tried to go off on a tangent from modern stadia but havent quite got it right
i actually laughed when the stadium was used as an example in my construction tute today at uni as an example, luckily nothing about the stadium's quality (that its any decent in particular) was mentioned

More pussy on show than you'd see in Geelong.

Meh... Maybe it looks better in reality, but I was expecting something more spectacular.

All those clowns who said 30,000 was way too small are rather quiet now. Am I the only one who believes the 30k was ample capacity, especially considering there are two larger stadiums nearby for the occassional bigger event ?

Victory's crowds have gone the same way as the Forces.

Victory expected their crowds to rise as did the Force.

Force and Victory now understand that a 25-30,000 seat rectangular stadium is appropriate.

It will be interesting to see what sort of crowds the Rebels pull when they start next year. I must admit to being mystified about the drop in the Victory's crowd figures considering it's a much better stadium for football that Etihad is. And it's a fairly sizable drop too...
