The Entertainment Centre is a good stadium for things after than basketball. The facilities are modern and decent, and thankfully it's in walking distance of Broadmeadow train station, which is a big plus for me. Its major downfall is its basketball/netball configuration. The vast majority of the fans are away from the action, and you'd think they could move some seats closer to the ends of the courts. Overall, if the NBL ever gets a team back in Newcastle, some work needs to be done on fixing up the seating configuration so the fans are closer to the action. Apart from that, it's a good facility for the city of Newcastle and surrounds. 4 out of 5 for me. |
