In terms of size, facilities, history and access - it has to be the best stadium in Australia. So close to the CBD, 100k capacity, and great facilities in the Northern Stand and the recently upgraded Southern Stand. Nothing beats AFL Grand Final day here. |

It's amazing, obviously, but definitely not a ground for rugby or football matches, no matter how many you think you'll get through the turnstiles. |

Outstanding world class venue that is second to none. Having been involved with the MCC previously i'd say NO to the MCG ever selling its sole to naming rights sponsors! |

An amazing all-round stadium. However, i assume watching cricket from the top of the stands would be a bit average.
I hope the stadium will remain the "MCG" forever and never obtain an advertising name. |

Best Stadium in Australia hands down. It was built for cricket and footy and these sports bring in the masses. To have NFL, MLB and other athletes watch AFL games here and be blown away is impressive. One of the few Australian Stadiums to be known well overseas. |

this is a beautiful stadium. It's certainly big enough to host both local and international events. You can see any code of football or cricket clearly from anywhere in the stands. It's extremely close to the city of Melbourne. All in all, it's a world class stadium. |

Depends on the sport. Like a lot of things Melbourne its all focused on AFL. Not good for soccer, at all, and I assume League and Rugby are the same. Hopefully Melbournes new rectangular stadium will finally give Melbourne a decent footy venue.
For cricket its far too big to be enjoyable. Too far away and the seats are too crammed to fit all the AFL crowds in. Cricket never fills this ground so overall its the greatest stadium in the world (to watch AFL at). |

Great stadium for cricket and AFL but sadly nothing else. In my opinion its the 3 rd best stadium in the world behind suncorp stadium and the mighty SKILLED PARK. |

The stadium isnt great to watch cricket sadly even though its known as the melbourne cricket ground. HOWEVER the stadium is simply awesome to watch football which has now taken over the stadium with over 45 matches being played there in 2008. It should now be called the Melbourne Football Ground! lol |
