Allan Border Field
The Allan Border Field is a small cricket ground situated in the Brisbane suburb of Albion. Since 2004, it has been home of the Australian National Cricket Academy - used to develop elite Australian cricketers. The Queensland Bulls play some matches at the ground each year when not playing at the Gabba.
It includes two grandstands for spectators as well as a nice grass bank surrounding the ground, with a capacity of around 6,300. Allan Border Field was formerly known as Neumann Oval and was home of the now-defunct QLD State Rugby League club Fortitude Valley Diehards from 1909 until 1995. Queensland Cricket purchased the ground shortly after the club relocated.
