State Basketball Centre

The Victorian State Basketball Centre is located just off Eastlink in Wantirna South as part of the Knox Regional Sports Park precinct. The venue opened in 2012, costing $27 million, with a $132 million expansion completed in January 2024, including 12 new indoor courts to increase the total to 18, high-performance, administration facilities and a town square space.

The State Basketball Centre features a 3,200-seat show court which is the home of WNBL team Southside Flyers and hosts two matches per season for NBL team South East Melbourne Phoenix. Additional courtside seating increases capacity to around 3,400. A smaller 200-seat show court is also located within the venue.

The centre is the home of Knox Basketball & Basketball Victoria, who relocating from the old Knox Basketball Stadium in nearby Boronia, while its also the training and administration headquarters of the South East Melbourne Phoenix.
